Boston Celtics potential secret #3: Jabari Parker

Jabari Parker showed in the last game of the season against the New York Knicks that can still light up the scoreboard when given proper minutes and usage. Putting up 18 points in 27 minutes, he was able to score from all over the floor and showed that even after all of the injuries he has faced in his seven-year career, there’s still plenty of game left for the 26-year-old.

Parker’s postseason career isn’t necessarily the most heralded, though his finest postseason efforts came in 2019 against the Boston Celtics as a member of the Milwaukee Bucks. Now making a return to high-stakes basketball following unsuccessful stints with the Wizards, Sacramento Kings, and Chicago Bulls, the Duke product can right the wrongs of his struggles in the first round of 2014’s March Madness when he shot 4-14 in a loss to #14-seeded Mercer.

Boston Celtics potential secret #4: Tacko Fall

Tacko Fall is not a secret to the league, or even the sports world. His impressive stature has made him a spectacle that gets ovations from crowds around the country and the comical height difference between him and his teammates makes for some of the best sporting event photos around.

Let’s be real, though: no one expects him to contribute tonight or in a worst-case scenario situation on Thursday against Charlotte/Indiana either. But with Robert Williams potentially out with turf toe and Tristan Thompson being the only other traditional big besides Luke Kornet, we may see what Fall has in the NBA Play-in.

If we do, Fall will almost assuredly dominate the glass and maybe even spike a ball or two into the stands…and perhaps even more.
