Former Boston Celtics player No. 4) Isaiah Thomas

Who else did you expect when you clicked on this article?

That’s right, Isaiah Thomas is a player we wholeheartedly hope will make his return. The King of the Fourth Quarter is currently a free agent and would provide a multitude of benefits to this struggling Cs team.

Thomas gave it his all for the Boston Celtics during his tenure, especially during his special 2016 season where he finished fifth in the MVP conversation.

Thomas most recently played on a 10-day contract with the New Orleans Pelicans and it was pretty obvious that he still has some ball left in him. In his two and half seasons in Boston, he elevated Boston Celtics basketball to a level that we hadn’t seen in almost a decade.

Thomas put the team and the city of Boston on his back and led the Cs to the top seed in the Eastern Conference.

After being named to the All-Star game in back-to-back years, Thomas led the Celtics to the Eastern Conference Finals. Having lost the series 4-1 against the LeBron James-led Cleveland Cavaliers, hopes were high for the next season.

Then, Thomas was traded away to Cleveland for Kyrie Irving, ending his tenure in Boston.

Thomas has since expressed his desire to return to the Celtics and it looks like the front office is finally coming around to the idea. Whether it’s in the starting lineup or coming off the bench, Boston needs Isaiah Thomas as he’ll always bleed green.
