The Boston Celtics could find themselves looking for takers for Kemba Walker this offseason, and we at HH believe there are 2 teams who could pursue him

The 2020-21 season has been an all-out disappointment for the Boston Celtics, with many already believing the team is highly capable of seeing a nightmarish first-round exit coming about on the horizon.

While there could be many conclusions drawn for why the team has struggled so mightily throughout the majority of this year’s campaign, perhaps the most highly publicized reason is their health situation and, perhaps more specifically, their lackadaisical consistency in such category.

Through the 65 games played thus far, the C’s top-billed Quintet of Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Kemba Walker, and Marcus Smart have only managed to start 16 games together.

To see Tatum, Brown, and Smart missing ample games on the year is a bit surprising and is largely viewed as somewhat of a mixture of an anomaly and overall bac luck.

As for Walker missing extended time, unfortunately, this is not all that shocking to see, for the man’s tenure in Beantown has largely been marred by injuries, which kick-started during the second half of last season and bled right along into this year.

Despite being a former All-NBA player, a perennial All-Star, and currently boasting solid averages of 18.2 points, five assists, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.1 steals per game on 35 percent shooting from deep, due to his struggles to stay on the court coupled with his $141 million salary, it’s certainly not out of the realm of possibility that we’ll see the Celtics shopping the point guard this coming offseason.

In fact, some could argue it’s rather likely.

Now, finding a taker for Walker may be a bit challenging, but we at the Houdini believe 2 teams, in particular, could serve as realistic landing spots for the 30-year-old:
