Abdel Nader – Phoenix Suns forward

Coming in at the lengthiest tenure on this list, Phoenix Suns forward Abdel Nader! Nader was drafted by the Boston Celtics in the second round of the 2016 NBA Draft and played for the C’s for one season before joining the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2018. He spent two seasons with the Thunder before being traded to the Suns in the Chris Paul deal in 2020.

Nader spent the 2016-2017 in the NBA D-League as a member of the Maine Red Claws. He was the NBA Developmental League Rookie of the Year before rejoining the Celtics for the 2017 season.

Nader’s tenure with the Boston Celtics didn’t last long as he was traded away in the 2018 offseason for Rodney Purvis. He only started one game for the Celtics, in which he logged 38 minutes on the court. He ended up going 4-15 from the field and scoring 9 points to go alongside 8 rebounds in the Celtics 110-97 win over the Brooklyn Nets on April 11, 2018.

Nader appeared in 11 playoff games for the Cs including the one win against the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference Finals.

Now, Nader is a role player for the Phoenix Suns. He’s averaged around 15 minutes per game and is averaging a career high 6.7 points, 2.6 rebounds and 0.8 assists per game on 49.1% shooting from the field and 41.9% shooting from beyond the arc.
