Boston Celtics buyout target No. 3) Andre Drummond

Essentially since the season began, the biggest name projected to be on the buyout market at this point in the season was Cleveland Cavaliers big man, Andre Drummond.

Now, with the fact that things have been made official with news breaking that the big man and the franchise are parting ways, front offices can get to work on trying to lure him to town and we believe that Danny Ainge and the Boston Celtics could benefit from being one of said sweepstakes participants.

The two-time All-Star would easily come in as the projected starting center for this Cs team, and rightly so.

His physical stature would be something not seen on the roster in quite some time while his per-game averages of 17.5 points, 13.5 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.6 steals, and 1.2 blocks per game on 47 percent shooting from the field would simply be a luxury to have at the team’s weakest position.

With his specific skill set coupled with his behemoth build — standing at 6-11 and weighing in at 280 pounds — one could certainly argue that a guy like Andre Drummond would be a high-impact addition to this size-starved squad right off the bat.
