With Sunday night’s win over the Orlando Magic, we find the Boston Celtics once again back to a .500 record of 21-21.

Though this may be a better place than where we’ve seen them over the last week, to say one expected an even win-loss column for this team through 42 games played upon entering the season would be a complete and utter farce.

Arguably the most disappointing team in the entire league, virtually the same squad that found itself just two games away from their first NBA Finals appearance in over a decade currently finds itself grasping onto the seventh seed in the tightly contested Eastern Conference playoff hunt.

Though a few wins could theoretically thrust them up all the way to the fourth spot, the same number, but in losses, could drop them as far down as 11th.

Now, as we approach the March 25th NBA trade deadline, fans and media alike are champing at the bit, waiting to see what Danny Ainge and co. have up their sleeve to try and get this roster back to simply respectability.

While there are some who believe the C’s front office will play things coy and, perhaps even wait till the offseason to make some roster shakeups, there are others who believe that this team could be gearing up for some ‘big moves.’

Truthfully, we here at the Houdini have absolutely no idea what the Boston Celtics will wind up doing come the deadline, as different rumors and whispers pertaining to such a topic are seemingly swaying our thoughts in every which way.

That said, though we may not have a real clue about what they will do, we at the site have some ideas about what they could do in an effort, not just to bolster their roster, but to make themselves legitimate title contenders once again.
