Player Boston Celtics should avoid No. 3) Andre Drummond

Last but certainly not least we find the biggest player (both figuratively and literally) currently rumored to be a realistic commodity on the block in veteran center, Andre Drummond.

Prior to being held out of the lineup back in February as the Cavaliers’ front office began looking for a way to move on from the big man, the former All-Star was finding himself posting yet another impressive campaign.

Through 25 games played, Drummond managed to post per-game averages of 17.5 points, 13.5 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.6 steals, and 1.2 blocks per game.

With his specific skill set coupled with his behemoth build — standing at 6-11 and weighing in at 280 pounds — one could certainly argue that a guy like Andre Drummond would be a solid addition to this center-starved Boston Celtics squad.

Frankly, we don’t necessarily disagree with this mindset — the problem, however, is his egregious salary.

Just a bit over the price range in which the C’s TPE allows, a deal realistically seems to be out of the cards for the shamrocks.

Instead, perhaps they’d simply be better off to wait and see if the big man gets bought out and, in turn, the team could land him at a much lower cost.
