Boston Celtics: 2 Kemba Walker trade packages from interested suitors
Why the Boston Celtics do it
Myles Turner needs to remain at the top of the Boston Celtics’ whiteboard until he ends up wearing green and white. With Joel Embiid manning the middle in Philadelphia and the Milwaukee Bucks owning one of the league’s biggest frontcourts as well, fortifying the middle with a big man who can stretch the floor and open up driving lanes for the “Jays”, Marcus Smart, Payton Pritchard, etc.
Lou Williams’ arrival would make Jeff Teague expendable, while Patrick Beverly would give Boston another bulldog defender to torment opposing offenses.
Why the Los Angeles Clippers do it
The Clippers are getting by now without a traditional playmaking attacking point guard (well, besides Reggie Jackson) but that will be a much higher hill to climb in the postseason when defenses lock-in and force the game to a screeching halt.
Walker could make things easier for Kawhi Leonard and Paul George and would give Los Angeles a third player capable of taking over games when the offense is stunted.
Why the Indiana Pacers do it
This season doesn’t seem to be capable of generating much in the way of team success for Indiana, so their best bet would be to reload and collect assets to form something around the talents of Malcolm Brogdon and Domantas Sabonis.
