Of late, the Boston Celtics have been playing some putrid basketball.

While there is still a total of 46 regular-season games left to be played, with the fact that this team has the league’s best wing duo in Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, a perennial All-Star point guard in Kemba Walker, and one of the most revered coaches in the game today in Brad Stevens, a .500 record of 13-13 and being losers of three of their last 10 outings is simply unacceptable.

For months now, fans have been pleading for the team’s front office to make some moves either via free agency or the trading route in an effort to help bolster the roster. To date, Danny Ainge and co. have done the bare minimum in this regard but, according to recent reports, Boston may be up to something.

In his own words, the C’s General Manager stated that the roster could use for some “shooters with size” which, to no one’s surprise, has sparked many in the media and fans of the organization to decipher who the team can bring in that would fit this description.

One player we often see linked as a potential target for Boston is veteran power forward, P.J. Tucker.

Recently, Bleacher Report kept this trend going, as they tabbed Beantown as one of the best landing spots for the 35-year-old.

The Boston Celtics once again listed as a possible destination for P.J. Tucker

We here at the Houdini have been singing this song for quite some time now and, just a few weeks ago, we concocted two trades the Celtics could make to land the tough-nosed 3-and-D four.

At only $7.9 million, the vet is the best traditional power forward that is realistically available. With his skill set, he is a player that virtually any championship aspiring ball club would want and should be high on Ainge’s radar.
