After making it to within just two games of reaching their first NBA Finals in over a decade during the 2019-20 season, the Boston Celtics find themselves in the midst of a bit of a disappointing follow-up season.
Despite getting off to a hot start, going 8-3 through their first 11 outings, the Cs have gone 4-6 throughout their last 10 outings and boast a just above .500 overall record of 13-11.
To say the early stages of 2020-21 have been a roller coaster ride of emotions would be an understatement.
Because of their slow start, reports have begun to come out that General Manager Danny Ainge will be looking to make moves, particularly for “shooter with size” as we begin to inch closer to the March 25th NBA trade deadline.
Since this news came out, on numerous occasions we at the Houdini have pushed out content discussing targets the Cs could consider pursuing that fit this mold of a player.
Often, however, we find ourselves circling back to one specific player that we believe both fits the criteria that Ainge is looking for as well as addresses perhaps the most depleted area with the team’s rotation which, of course, is in their frontcourt — power forward/ center.

For a while now, we’ve been advocating for the Boston Celtics to consider the possibility of pursuing the likes of the fourth-year big man Collins, who has often found his name within the trade rumor-mill.
Recently, as reported by Bleacher Report, the buzz is that the Atlanta Hawks are now “willing to listen to offers” for the budding-star big.
