Boston Celtics TPE target No. 3) Aaron Gordon, Orlando Magic

We’ll continue pounding this proverbial drum until it crosses oer into a reality: the Boston Celtics should trade for Aaron Gordon.

For those of you who watched the C’s last bout against the Orlando Magic, you witnessed what this man brings to the table — he’s a big body who is an absolute menace on offense when in the vacinity of the rim while also proving to be a solid floor spacer as well (converted on 60 percent of his attempts from deep).

On the season, Gordon is averaging 15 points, 6.2 rebounds, and just over a half-block per game on 48 percent shooting from deep and a career high 38 percent shooting from deep.

Recently, Bleacher Report writer Greg Swartz linked the 25-year-old to Boston as a potential trade target, and cited his fit in the rotation and skillset as being optimal for how the team would like to operate:

"Gordon would be a terrific starting power forward for Boston, able to defend multiple positions while allowing Jayson Tatum to play more on the wing. He’s also a willing passer that would help bump up the Celtics’ awful assist rate."

Like we’ve been saying, him running alongside Kemba Walker, Jaylen Brown, and Jayson Tatum in the starting lineup would make this team far more menacing than they already are — which is saying something –, for not only would they have the floor spacing, but with Gordon, they’d possess one of the best rim-rattling finishers in the league today.

If they could get him for, say, Daniel Theis and a pick or so, it could prove to be an absolute steal for this championship aspiring squad.
