The Houdini wants to see the Boston Celtics circle the wounded Orlando Magic like vultures and pounce on a trade after Markelle Fultz’ ACL Tear.

In 2017, the Boston Celtics traded the #1 pick to the Philadelphia 76ers.

We know the rest.

Jayson Tatum has arrived as a superstar and showed flashes of greatness in his very first season in Beantown during the team’s magical 2018 postseason run.

Forever linked to Tatum, Markelle Fultz was the player the 76ers gave up a godfather offer to draft. Throughout the years, Philadelphia has been ridiculed for the move, and they made things worse when they traded him in 2019 for a lottery-protected first-round pick, a second-round pick, and…Jonathon Simmons.

In two years, Fultz went from the toast of the town, to simply toast. His shot no longer resembled his smooth stroke at Washington when he left Philly, and everything from the “yips”, to an unidentified shoulder injury, were the reasons he could no longer shoot the ball.

Then, things changed in Orlando.

Fultz became a starting-caliber floor general who averaged 12 points, five assists, and three rebounds the past two years for the Magic. While Orlando was only able to muster a single-win against the faux contender 2019-20 Milwaukee Bucks, things were clearly looking up for the franchise.

Jonathan Isaac tore his ACL in the bubble, but the 2020-21 Magic were off to a hot start in their potential franchise pillar’s absence. Just last night, they improved to 6-2, but Orlando’s doomsday situation happened.

Fultz also tore his ACL.

Quite honestly, the Houdini is heartbroken. Fultz seemed to be making things right, but evidently, his progress has been stalled. Here’s hoping he can pick right back up where he left off.

In the meantime, business is business. We’re in the business here at HH in making the Boston Celtics better.

Today, it comes at the Magic’s expense, because Orlando is most certainly going to make a move to recover from losing their starting floor general.

Here are 2 potential deals they can make:
