The Boston Celtics could soon be looking to make alterations to their starting lineup, and there are 3 players who could be in the running for consideration.

Though the Boston Celtics may find themselves slotted in the fourth seed out in the Eastern Conference with a record of 5-3, they have proven to be far away from being considered a perfect unit.

Specifically in reference to their starting lineup, though they may be rolling out the likes of All-Star Jayson Tatum and the arguable All-Star snub from 2019-20 Jaylen Brown, fans and media alike believe Brad Stevens should consider shaking things up, as overall the unit has somewhat underwhelmed thus far into 2020-21.

Whether they do wind up making alterations to the first five remains to be seen. However, if they do, there are 3 specific players that we believe deserve consideration in such a lineup:

Boston Celtics player No. 1) Semi Ojeleye

Let us start out by saying that we’ll completely admit we were down on Semi Ojeleye coming into the season. Through seven games played, however, he has pleasantly surprised us here at HH.

Now, perhaps not the sexiest of names on the current roster for the Boston Celtics, the 26-year-old is having himself an incredibly efficient start to the year, as he is averaging 5.9 points and 2.9 rebounds on 45 percent shooting from the floor and 44 percent shooting from deep.

Most recently, during the C’s two-game winning-streak, Ojeleye is finding himself averaging 11.5 points and five boards on 50 percent shooting from the floor and 55 percent shooting from deep.

With the third-year forward in the starting lineup, the Cs could go back to their more preferred small-ball rotation, slotting him in at the three and sliding Tatum and Theis down to the four and five, respectively, where they found ample success during their last campaign.

Proving to be a reliable 3-and-D player during the early stages of this contract season, perhaps placing Semi Ojeleye in the first-five could wind up being a beneficial spark worth considering moving forward.
