Though the 2020-21 season is now just under two weeks away, some across the media believe trade season could still be in play for the Boston Celtics.

Despite the fact that some may perceive this 2020 offseason as reletively underwhelming for the Boston Celtics, the team still is coming into this year’s campaign ranked as one of the best in the association.

Be it their 6th place projection or their star player Jayson Tatum’s listing as the 11th best player in basketball (according to ESPN) the public perception of the shamrocks is that they are in line for yet another victory-filled campaign.

That said, while it would appear that the Cs are content with the state of their current roster and rotation, with the fact that they currently hold the largest trade exception in league history thanks to the Gordon Hayward sign-and-trade to the Charlotte Hornets, the idea of a deal being struck is always a possibility.

Add in the fact that there have been rumblings of some star players across the league being interested in a new zip-code, and you’ve got the makings for a very active rumor-mil.

Recently, Bleacher Report came out with a piece entitled 1 New Trade Idea for Every NBA Franchise, and, in it, we saw the Boston Celtics linked to two different hypothetical deals.

Naturally, this got the Houdini’s creative juices flowing and, with this, we got eager to put out another installment of our favorite series we call “Pass or Purse”, where we discuss concocted trades and determine whether it would be wise for the franchise to execute them or if they should simply stand pat.

So, without further adieu, let’s get started:
