Though we’re just around two weeks away from opening night’s tip-off, the Boston Celtics could still make some additions, specifically for savvy veterans.

Coming into the 2020-21 campaign, the Boston Celtics are expected to be without All-Star point guard Kemba Walker which is, of course, quite a bummer.

That said, their prospects on the season are still very high, as ESPN and many other sports outlets still see the team as one of the best in the league and as title contenders heading into the year.

This was to be expected, of course, what with the fact that the team still has both Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown in tow and, at some point, will get Walker back into the lineup, giving them one of the best big-3s in the entire Eastern Conference.

However, despite this and Danny Ainge’s offseason moves, it appears the Cs still have some areas within the rotation that could use for some fine-tuning. Interestingly enough, one of said areas that could be addressed still this offseason is veteran presence, specifically at the wing.

In this area within the roster, the player with the most tread on his tires is Marcus Smart, who is just a mere 26-years-old. Though he is considered to be the “lifeblood” of Boston Celtics basketball, adding another seasoned player to the position couldn’t hurt with developing the team’s young bucks and establishing more winning tendencies.

The position could certainly use for some added veteran experience/ leadership to potentially get the most from the team’s centerpieces in Tatum and Brown. As for who Boston could pursue using their veteran’s minimum contracts, the Houdini’s got you covered:
