Speaking of trade sprees, the Oklahoma City Thunder are on one of the most glorious two-year trade binges that professional sports has ever witnessed. After sending away Paul George and Russell Westbrook to create two faux contenders and sucking said faux contenders dry of their assets, the Thunder asked the league to hold its pint and continued to nuke the NBA landscape.

This year, Chris Paul was sent to the Phoenix Suns in the league’s most notable swap–arguably until yesterday’s Westbrook-Wall blockbuster–and Al Horford was acquired from the Philadelphia 76ers. Danny Green came and went, and Trevor Ariza is likely to be sent away at some point as well.

Given Oklahoma City’s willingness to deal with just about anyone for just about anyone, the Boston Celtics could realistically slot in with the most Ainge moves of all: a small-scale deal for sharp-shooting big man Mike Muscala.

Muscala was a mid-major sensation out of Bucknell that caught on with the Atlanta Hawks. He has since bounced around a bit, but the floor-spacer will definitely have a job for as long as there is a need for traditional lineups.
