Los Angeles Lakers

The Los Angeles Lakers have had a significant amount of turnover, which is not the usual behavior of a reigning NBA Champion. Obviously, this offseason is not going the way it was ever imagined too.

That has somehow ended up being a very positive thing for the Lakers, who have been able to add Marc Gasol and Montrezl Harrell this offseason. They should not have to stop given the insurance Williams can provide and the possible synergies the two teams could have in a trade.

Alex Caruso would be a great fit in the mentor role as a backup combo guardin Boston. If the two teams were to talk about sending the “Time Lord” to Tinseltown, perhaps something could happen.

Los Angeles Clippers

The Los Angeles Clippers have made some moves to reinforce the wing, with Luke Kennard being a potential game-changing addition as a floor-spacing sniper around the superstar duo of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George.

Losing Harrell to the Lakers hurt their frontcourt in ways that are as of yet unforeseen. With Ivica Zubac and Serge Ibaka currently serving as the two top bodies on the Clippers’ center depth chart, Williams’ high-flying aerial abilities would provide a crucial service as a roll man in the offense and as a rim-protector at the other end.
