Recent rumblings suggest that the Boston Celtics could look into trading up in tonight’s draft to acquire a top-3 selection.

It’s no secret that the Boston Celtics are looking into moving their 3 first-round picks in one fashion or another.

While some reports have suggested they may want to swap their 14th, 26th, and 30th overall selections for already established NBA talents, some of the most recent rumors are that Danny Ainge and co. may be interested in jumping ahead of the line tonight and receive a higher slot, particularly somewhere within the top-3.

Over the years, the Celtics have held ample draft capital and, in turn, have been linked to numerous trades involving them. From the 2018 Kawhi Leonard debacle to the 2019 Anthony Davis sweepstakes, Beantown has found themselves intertwined in the trade rumor mill often throughout the past couple of drafts.

Fortunately or unfortunately, depending on how one chooses to look at it, they wound up standing pat and wound up keeping their picks relatively intact.

If these rumors are true, we can expect the C’s front office to be making calls directly to the Minnesota Timberwolves, Golden State Warriors, and Charlotte Hornets who hold the rights to the first, second, and third overall selections, respectively.

While the Hornets have already stated they have no desire to deal their lottery pick, the other two teams mentioned above have been rumored to be intrigued by the idea.

The question is, what might an offer for one of these picks look like?
