Draft outcome for the Boston Celtics No. 3) The Cs trade their pick(s) for a player

Aside from the rumor that the Boston Celtics are interested in packaging together their picks to move up in the draft, apparently they’d also be willing to exchange them for an already-established veteran.

Couple this with a few salary-matches in a trade and you could very easily see the Cs put together a very attractive package for quite a few players across the league.

Our favorite trade target thus far into the offseason has been Indiana Pacers center, Mylers Turner, who would instantly be an upgrade at the pivot for the shamrocks come opening day of the 2020-21 season.

This is an idea we’ve covered very often over the past several months and, the more we think about it, the more we fall in love with the idea of offing some of our capital for his talents.

This past season, the 23-year-old posted impressive averages of 12.1 points, 6.6 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and a whopping 2.1 blocks per game on 46 percent shooting from the floor and 34 percent shooting from deep.

Other players that have been linked to the Boston Celtics that would require trading their 2020 draft picks — along with other contracts, of course — for such as All-Star Rudy GobertSteven Adams, and CJ McCollum just to name a few.

In the past, Danny Ainge has been reluctant to trade the team’s ample draft capital for established stars/ players. Perhaps this year, he’ll actually capitalize on such an opportunity.
