Draft outcome for the Boston Celtics No. 2) Cs move up in the draft

Though we believe the Boston Celtics can get quality value should they stay put and keep their selections the way they are, the team’s front office may have a different idea of how to go about this year’s draft.

The most recent prospect to pop up in rumors pertaining to who Danny Ainge and co. may be targeting is Auburn Tigers wing, Isaac Okoro who, according to Sean Deveney of Heavy.com, has the C’s front office enamored with his talents.

For a while now, the buzz has been that the Celtics are actively looking into packaging together their picks in a trade that could potentially move them up in the draft.

Even though this year’s class may be seen as somewhat weak in comparison to others of late, there are still plenty of talented players that could be had, especially within the top-10 range.

From top-tier talents like LaMelo Ball, Anthony Edwards, and Deni Avdija to guys that could immediately fill holes within the C’s rotation like James Wiseman, Onyeka Okongwu, and Okoro, this draft is seen by many as top-heavy.

Should the Celtics fall for one of these types of players, they would have little trouble putting together a package to move up and grab them.
