4-teamer with Indiana

"Boston Celtics get: Myles Turner, Spencer Dinwiddie, Taurean Prince Brooklyn Nets get: James Harden Indiana Pacers get: Gordon Hayward, Trevor Ariza Houston Rockets get: Victor Oladipo, Caris LeVert, Jarrett Allen, 2020 Boston Celtics first-round pick, 2020 Brooklyn Nets first-round pick, 2020 Milwaukee Bucks first-round pick"

Why the Boston Celtics do it

Myles Turner is basically the Cs main offseason target if you read through the dotted lines. His workout with Grant Williams and Tacko Fall is one the Houdini cannot scrub from his memory. Spencer Dinwiddie and Taurean Prince would fill out the second unit and provide 32 points per game of the pine.

Why the Brooklyn Nets do it

You know, to get James Harden.

Why the Indiana Pacers do it

Gordon Hayward is just as much as the primary target for the Indiana Pacers just as Turner has been lasered in on by Boston. It seems like it will be any moment when the shoe will drop and the deal will finally happen. Trevor Ariza is a nice veteran supplemental piece for the Indy second unit.

Why the Houston Rockets do it

So before we go tearing down Houston’s roster in every move, let’s remember the Rockets don’t have all (or even the majority) of their draft picks moving forward. They may need to add some competitive talent in any haul for their superstar.

This deal lands them two players with All-Star potential in Victor Oladipo and Caris LeVert (it has been said) as well as an actual center in Jarrett Allen in addition to draft picks.
