The Boston Celtics have been in talks with several teams about the #26 pick in the 2020 NBA Draft. The Houdini sees these 3 teams as potential landing spots for the 26th selection.

Prepare for the wildest NBA and Boston Celtics-fueled news-binge of your lives, Cs fans. This week is set to produce fireworks in the form of the trade moratorium being lifted and the NBA Draft.

Around these parts, rumors of the Cs packaging their draft picks to either move up in the draft or acquire a veteran have been rampant. Danny Ainge clearly needs to make some sort of chess move to bolster the team’s standing league-wide. Other teams have already begun to, with the Los Angeles Lakers firing the first shot of the offseason by trading for Dennis Schroder, a possible Cs target that has been crossed off the board.

With three picks at their disposal, Boston has options in the trade market. Here are 3 possible trade partners with the #26 pick:

Indiana Pacers

We don’t need to spend too much time talking about the Pacers because it has been obvious that any deal done with Indiana is likely to include Gordon Hayward and Myles Turner. A homecoming is nice for Indy and Hayward, but being able to add a pliable piece to the Malcolm Brogdon-Domantas Sabonis duo is secondary to the team receiving picks to start going younger–especially after crashing and burning with their current core.

Perhaps the Cs can pursue smaller deals for role players such as Doug McDermott and Jeremy Lamb, but Hayward is Indiana’s endgame in acquiring the #26 pick.
