The Boston Celtics could be on the hunt for a higher pick in the NBA Draft’s lottery. Here are 2 targets the Houdini believes the Cs should target.

The Houdini has spent the majority of the time this offseason configuring ways to improve the roster for the Boston Celtics. That has led us to countless trade scenarios, numerous ponderings of who could sign for the mid-level exception, and mock drafts on our end.

The goal is always to imagine a way for the team to be closer to contention, and oftentimes the means of getting there has included shipping multiple, if not all three, of the Cs upcoming first-round picks away–and Gordon Hayward may or may not be involved with 90 percent of them.

Either way, Danny Ainge is doing what we would do and we don’t even have control of his neurological functions:

"The Boston Celtics seemingly are seeking quality over quantity in the 2020 NBA Draft. The Celtics, who currently own three first-round picks (No. 14, No. 26 and No. 30), have offered all three picks in trades to try to move up in the Nov. 18 draft, The Ringer’s Kevin O’Connor reported in his latest mock draft. “So far, no one is biting,” O’Connor added."

That last part is unfortunate but not all too surprising. The 2020 NBA Draft class is seen as a shallow one, but there could be franchise-changing talent to be had in the top 10 selections of this year’s pool.

If the Celtics somehow manage to nab a top 10 pick, here are 2 targets they should lock in on:
