Boston Celtics NBA Draft: 3 shooters to target with each first-round pick

Shooter the Boston Celtics should target at No. 30) Tyrell Terry, PG, Stanford
First up on the docket, we start with a player the Boston Celtics could actually wind up drafting with the Milwaukee pick at 30th overall.
Tyrell Terry may not be the biggest name coming into this year’s NBA Draft, but could prove to be a fantastic asset to have for this putrid bench scoring unit for the shamrocks.
During his one-and-done season at Stanford, the point guard put up solid averages of 14.6 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 1.4 steals per game on 44 percent shooting from the floor.
Posting an average of 41 percent shooting from deep, Terry proved to be one of the best long-range shooters in the Pac-12 in 2019-20, ranked in the 99th percentile in catch-and-shoot opportunities — an ability that would bode extremely well within the free-flowing offense that the Cs run — and also has proven to excel when shooting off the dribble.
Playing a position that could use some bolstering with Kemba Walker’s knee ailments and the potential reality that Brad Wanamaker leaves in free agency, taking a late flier on a prospect like Terry might not be such a bad idea if you’re Danny Ainge.
