Isaiah Stewart

Isaiah Stewart is a large, active body who showed out in his freshman season at the University of Washington. Averaging 17 points and nine rebounds, Stewart figures to be ready for a backup center role…altho the Cs are likely the best team that can realistically hand him a starting position in his first season.

That’d be a Plan B for the 2020-21 gameplan unless Stewart was able to drastically outplay his draft position. The Boston Celtics would likely land Stewart with either the #26 or #30 pick, where most mock drafts have the six-foot-nine big man.

Zeke Nnaji

Zeke Nnaji would be quite the wild-card selection for the Boston Celtics, who seem to be growing more likely to make such picks after rolling with the Tacko Fall experiment all season and even tossing Grant Williams into the lineup as a small-ball center.

We know Nnaji can likely thrive as a lob-finisher and a board hog, but what we don’t know is just how high his ceiling is given his lack of touch from the outside or the midrange. Either way, he’d be a nice addition to the Celtics center platoon.

Daniel Oturu

Perhaps with less of a ceiling than the other two draft prospects listed, Daniel Oturu had a better 2019-20 campaign than both Stewart and Nnaji. The Minnesota Golden Gopher led the Big 10 in rebounds per game and grabbed the most offensive boards in the conference.

If the Cs don’t trade the #47 pick, Oturu would be a great get at the tail end of the draft’s second round.
