Boston Celtics Mock Draft 3.0: Cs solve center problem, add bench depth

In the Houdini’s latest mock draft, we see the Boston Celtics finding an answer at center while adding on some much-needed depth.

For the second straight year — the third time in the last five — the Boston Celtics find themselves coming into the NBA Draft holding the rights to 3 first-round picks. Odd, being that the organization has found ample success over the years, but thanks to a plethora of swavé moves, it is the fifth time out of the last seven drafts that the team holds at least one lottery selection.

In possession of the 14th, 26th, and 30th overall selections Danny Ainge has a great opportunity to add on some quality young talents to this Cs squad to help strengthen areas that could arguably be seen as concerning weak spots.

From their center rotation to their lackadaisical scoring punch off the pine, there are many places within the rotation Boston’s front office must address this offseason should they wish to better position themselves for a shot at attaining banner No. 18 before the likes of the Los Angeles Lakers.

We here at Hardwood Houdini have thought up many ways in which the shamrocks can handle their current possession of selections. From specific draft day targets to hypothetical offseason grabs, there are a bevy of routes the team can take to best utilize their first-rounders.

Of these routes, however, of course we’ve concocted our own mock drafts to determine, should they keep the picks, which players would be best taken where.

While we are big advocates for the franchise to trade at least one of their picks, should they opt to keep all three, here is how they should go about selecting:
