Boston Celtics: “Pass or Pursue” on 3 recently buzzed about trade targets

Based on recent rumblings, the Boston Celtics could find themselves in the running for a few talented players on the open market this offseason.

Ah the offseason! It is perhaps the most entertaining time period for us here at Hardwood Houdini, as we witness in live time both the very realistic and asinine proposals set forth by publications and other outlets that describe hypothetical scenarios for our beloved Boston Celtics.

While we of course miss seeing the Cs take to the hardwood and competing at the highest level of basketball in the world, fans and media alike can both get a kick out of playing the role of general manager in an effort to see how they can try and make their favorite team better come the season of next.

Being that Boston is one of the most storied franchises in league history, they often find themselves intertwined with some of the best talents reported and rumored to be on the move. Though it’s been just a few weeks since their season has ended, Boston has already been linked to several of this year’s top candidates to be switching teams come 2020-21.

Most recently, Bleacher Report came out with a piece entitled “Trades That Would Shock Every NBA Fanbase” and, on more than one occasion, we saw a few talented ballers making their way to Beantown.

With this, it sparked a thought in the Houdini’s mind: should these players actually find themselves on Boston’s radar?

Today, we bring back one of our favorite games entitled “Pass or Pursue”, where we discuss whether or not the Celtics should sit out on trade talks for one of these players, or if they should actively try to acquire them.

So, without further adieu, let’s get started:
