Boston Celtics trade target No. 3) Victor Oladipo

Though he may be the best player on this list, based on the team’s current needs and the price in which it would take to acquire his services Victor Oladipo ranks in at number 3.

Don’t get us wrong, we believe having the All-Star on the roster would give them even more firepower in the starting rotation than they already do — which is saying quite a lot. Slotting him in at shooting guard on a team consisting of Kemba Walker, Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum would easily make the wing position on the Boston Celtics the best in the entire association.

Boasting career averages of 17.3 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 1.7 steals per game on 44 percent shooting from the floor and 35 percent shooting from deep, Oladipo’s services could be of great value for this championship-aspiring squad.

That said, again, the asking price to acquire his services will likely be pretty handsome. Now, while Boston does, in theory, have the assets necessary to get a deal done, being they’d still have various other areas within the rotation to try and plug, attaining the star guard might not be the most logical move to make this offseason.

Fun to think about, yes, but there are bigger areas other than their wing spot that the team’s front office must address.
