Recently, there have been 3 specific players who have been linked to the Boston Celtics. Today, we rank them based on the value in which they’d bring to the Cs.
The Boston Celtics are once again watching the NBA Finals from the comforts of their own abodes — this marks the 10th consecutive season in which this has transpired.
Though the feeling is a bit different from last year, as they managed to go to Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals in comparison to 2019 where they were sent packing in five games in the Semifinals, the sentiment is still the same heading into the offseason: the Celtics need to get better heading into 2020-21.
In his first media appearance post-campaign, General Manager and President of Basketball Operations Danny Ainge even hinted that Boston could be in the market to make moves prior to the start of next season, stating:
"“We feel like we can beat Miami, but we didn’t. They beat us fair and square. They played better down the stretch of the games in that series. I have great respect for them and all that they’ve accomplished. We’re going to try to get better.”"
With that, the rumor-mill started spinning, as a plethora of publications — including ourselves — started concocting routes in which the team could take in an effort to better position themselves for glory moving forward.
