The Brooklyn Nets seem intent on chasing a third (or fourth, depending on the development of Caris LeVert) and the Indiana Pacers may be willing to see what value they can get for Victor Oladipo, a 2021 flight risk that the team proved they can live without after a quad injury kept him out of most of this past season.

Victor Oladipo would make for a snug lineup fit and would cost Brooklyn less than a Bradley Beal type. If he can return to the 23 points per game he averaged in a career-year in 2017-18, he can elevate the Nets’ already sky-high ceiling even further.

Indiana’s return brings role players to a team that already has an All-Star in Domantas Sabonis and several already established and elite role players like Malcolm Brogdon, Myles Turner, and T.J. Warren.

The Boston Celtics could bolster their bench and improve a team that has functioned well without Gordon Hayward and can send him to his home team that can better appreciate his talents by sending him to the Indiana Pacers.

Myles Turner, T.J. Warren, and Doug McDermott could feasibly make up the entire bench rotation in the 2021 postseason, and the Pacers could replace Oladipo’s scoring with Hayward’s which was actually higher in 2019-20.

Perhaps a first-round pick would solidify the deal for Indiana, who could then start building their roster with draft picks.
