Boston Celtics: 3 keys to victory tonight to take back series lead

Boston Celtics key to victory No. 3) Kemba Walker needs to shoot more
When it comes to a team’s best offensive players, typically they are the ones who are bestowed the most shot attempts on offense. In game-four, this norm was certainly the case for Boston’s first and third options in Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, who both received 18 attempts apiece.
For their number two go-to scorer in Kemba Walker, however, he only managed to hoist up a mere nine attempts, converting at a 44 percent clip. This cannot be the case moving forward.
It’s not just our opinion that this little amount of attempts cannot be a “new norm” if the Boston Celtics wish to win this series. In fact, Walker himself has gone on to state as such.
On the season, the All-Star averaged 15.9 shot attempts per game and, in turn, saw scoring numbers of 20.4 points per game on 43 percent shooting from the floor and 38 percent shooting from deep.
Boston needs him to score if they want to come away from tonight’s game with a win.
