Boston Celtics: 3 keys to victory vs. Toronto after devastating game-three loss
By Mark Nilon
Boston Celtics key to victory No. 3) Jaylen Brown
Unlike the other two slides, this key has nothing to do with anything wrong from the last outing for the Boston Celtics. In fact, Jaylen Brown finished the game with quite a nice stat-line of 19 points, 12 rebounds, two assists, and a whopping four blocks on 60 percent shooting from the field (though he missed both of his attempts from downtown).
This key, however, is based on my personal assumption that Brown is going to want to come into this game searching for blood after the C’s devastating game-three loss to Toronto.
All his comments would support this idea we have as well.
"“That was just a f—ing disgrace at the end of the game,” Brown said. “That was just terrible. “No way we should have lost that game. I take responsibility for that. Not just that play, but a lot of the plays before. And it happens. This is the NBA playoffs. Either you let them gain momentum or you come back and be ready to play next game.”"
We are big fans of Jaylen Brown here at the Houdini. Claiming him to be a franchise player in the role of the third option, a seemingly hungry and determined Brown could be an absolute difference-maker for Boston in their game-four bout against Toronto.
