The Boston Celtics come into game-two tonight with an undefeated 2020 postseason record. For this to continue, they should strive to accomplish these three keys.
A little bump in the road never seems to hinder the successes of the Boston Celtics.
They’ve seemingly dealt with it all throughout the 2019-20 campaign: from injury bugs & global pandemics to more bites by the proverbial bug and boycotts, the Cs always seem to find themselves following up low points with exponential highs.
This series of events seemed to ring true once again during their first game of the Semifinals Sunday against the Toronto Raptors.
Despite coming into the series as underdogs, Boston managed to get off to a scorching hot start to the game, as they ended the first quarter with a 16 point advantage (39-23). They never found themselves trailing from this point until the end when the final buzzer rang on their 112-94 victory.
Now, with their impressive performance, the shamrocks find themselves heading into game-two with a perfect record in these 2020 playoffs and, in turn, a 1-0 series lead over the defending world champions.
Unfortunately, however, fans and, frankly the Boston Celtics as a whole, don’t have much time to celebrate the team’s series-lead, as they find themselves gearing up for tonight’s game, one in which Toronto will come out with motivation to make up for their game-one blunder.
Toronto is a great team and cannot be slept on one bit during this year’s postseason. Give them an inch, and they’ll take a foot.
