Toronto’s point guard and leader went through practice Saturday afternoon and could be available for Sunday’s Eastern Conference semifinals game one vs. the Boston Celtics.

Boston Celtics fans hoping to catch an injury break in the wake of their own Gordon Hayward misfortunes should expect a Toronto Raptors team at full strength on Sunday. Kyle Lowry–who was injured in the final game of Toronto’s first-round sweep of the Brooklyn Nets–went through a full practice on Saturday ahead of the first game of the Eastern Conference semifinals:

Lowry had been dealing with a left ankle sprain, but it appears as though he is likely to suit up in a critical game one. The C’s and Raptors are facing off in the postseason for the first time in history. While the Raptors were five games ahead of the C’s in the final standings, Boston actually owned the season series.

That included the Celtics’ home opener at the TD Garden, a Christmas day game up north at the Air Canada Center and a bubble blowout three weeks ago. That said, Hayward was present for many of these victories. He will most certainly miss the rest of the series–not only due to his own ankle injury but because of the birth of his fourth child with his wife Robyn.

While his official status is technically still up in the air, that Lowry was able to not miss any aspects of the Raptors’ preparation is bad news for the Celtics defense.

What do you guys think? Does a healthy Kyle Lowry make Raptors favorites in game one?
