Boston Celtics target No. 3) Kira Lewis Jr., PG

Last but certainly not least we have Kira Lewis Jr., a point guard in which the Houdini believes to possess an unbelievable amount of potential at the next level, especially if thrust into a Brad Stevens-run offense.

Referred to by yours truly as a “Ja Morant-lite” prospect, the Alabama star is quite an intriguing prospect heading into the 2020 NBA Draft.

During his sophomore season with the Crimson Tide, the point guard put up solid averages of 18.5 points, 5.2 assists, 4.8 rebounds and 1.8 steals per game on 46 percent shooting from the floor and 37 percent shooting from deep. The 19-year-old has proven to be quite a reliable catch and shoot player — something the Boston Celtics offense thrives on — and can finish at the rim with a breakaway slam or an acrobatic-layup in traffic.

Defensively, he has also proven more than capable of holding his own. Measuring in with a 6-5 wingspan, the lanky Lewis has shown a knack for swiping the rock while also having the ability to slide through screens to stay with his man

With concerns over Kemba Walker’s knee long-term, Boston could certainly find themselves heavily invested in buying somewhat of an “insurance policy” by nabbing a young prospect in this year’s draft. Should this be the case, the idea of acquiring the raw and talented Kira Lewis Jr. might be too tempting to pass up.
