Boston Celtics: 3 more players Cs could target at pick No. 14

With the No. 14 pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, the Boston Celtics will have many talented options to choose from. That said, which ones are worth monitoring?
Not many teams in the midst of their sixth consecutive postseason — fourth in which they’ve advanced — have found themselves with as much value heading into the NBA Draft as the Boston Celtics have over the past several seasons.
Thanks to a bevy of trades over the years by General Manager and President of Basketball Operations Danny Ainge, the shamrocks have secured ample young talent that looks to be fixtures in the team’s rotation for years to come — see Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown as two prime examples.
Now, for the third time in five-years, Boston finds themselves yet again holding the rights to three first-round draft picks, one of which falling within the lottery at 14th overall.
Though this year’s draft may not be deemed as one of the strongest we’ve seen over the years, it still has its fair share of talented youngsters that could make a difference for an NBA franchise if put in the right position.
As for the Boston Celtics, despite rostering one of the best cores in the league in Kemba Walker, Tatum, Brown, Gordon Hayward, and Marcus Smart, they, too, could use for some cheap rookie talents to help shore up some of the weak spots that can be found within their rotation — center rotation, bench scoring, etc.
