The Boston Celtics close out their seeding-games today against the Washington Wizards. In this contest, we hope to see two specific players receive extended minutes on the hardwood.

It seems like only yesterday Boston Celtics, and all other NBA fans across the globe were waiting for their beloved teams to step back onto the hardwood and finish off what had truly become quite an entertaining season.

Today, at least for the Celtics, the 2019-20 regular season will finally come to a close as they will be squaring off against the 0-7 (in regard to the Disney bubble games) Washington Wizards.

Being that it is the team’s last game, and they’re already guaranteed the third-seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs — and, not to mention, a matchup with the Philadelphia 76ers –, it has been deemed appropriate by Head Coach Brad Stevens to sit the team’s main contributors.

Their absence, however, does open the door for extra minutes to be handed out elsewhere — after all, there’s still a minimum of 48 minutes to play. The only question is, who might be the beneficiaries of extended play?

While there are a few probable inheritors of these extra minutes, there are two specific players we at the Houdini hope to see more often than not today against Washington:
