The Boston Celtics stretch their winning streak to four with 122-107 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies.

Another day, another win for the scorching hot Boston Celtics. As the 2019-20 season begins to unwind, the C’s odds for further success are becoming greater and greater — especially with last night’s victory over Memphis.

With the fact that Boston holds the rights to Memphis’ 2020 pick, with their latest loss, their postseason odds are rapidly diminishing, which only aids in the C’s chances of landing a lottery pick in this year’s draft.

On the other side of the coin in regard to last night’s exhibition, the shamrocks managed to stretch their winning streak to four games, besting Ja Morant (26 points, 13 assists) and co. 122-107.

For the most part, it was a one-sided affair, as Boston managed to lead for the majority of the contest.

Leading the way was Jayson Tatum, who was seemingly unguardable the entire night. Finishing with 29 points and six boards on 77 percent shooting from the floor and 80 percent shooting from deep, it’s evident that, after a relatively slow start to the bubble, the team’s first-time All-Star is now deep inside his bag and ready to guide this squad well into the upcoming postseason.

Kemba Walker and Gordon Hayward finished with 19 apiece, shooting 70 and 44 percent, respectively, from the field and over 40 percent shooting from deep. It was great seeing Walker log close to 30 minutes in the outing and perform so well. Being this was likely his last game before the postseason, seeing him in that good of shape last night was certainly a welcomed sight to see.

Marcus Smart continued to prove worthy of more on-ball duties moving forward, as he managed to rack up — alongside 11 points — nine assists on the night and finished with a game-high box plus/ minus of +23, while Robert Williams continued to show why he could be an x-factor come the playoffs (logged 10 points, seven rebounds, and three blocks a game on 67 percent shooting from the floor).

Enes Kanter also showcased the skillset Boston Celtics fans were excited about seeing when they signed him last offseason, as he 11 points on an efficient 56 percent shooting, and grabbed eight rebounds (four offensive), and one block.

Jaylen Brown‘s recent offensive hot-streak, unfortunately, came to an end tonight, as he struggled mightily to put the ball into the basket, shooting a measly 23 percent from the floor and 12.5 percent from deep. That said, he did manage to make up for these shortcomings by grabbing four boards, one block, one steal, and finished the game with a box plus/ minus of +16.

All in all, the team played extremely well on both ends of the floor. Outside of their offensive escapades, the Celtics managed to hold the Grizzlies to just 39 percent shooting from the floor and 24 percent shooting from deep.

Next on the docket, Boston looks to close out their regular season with a “home game” — though, in the bubble, everyone’s really away — against the Washington Wizards this upcoming Thursday.

Tip-off will commence at 12 PM.

As always, go Celtics!
