Key to C’s victory No. 1) Lockdown defense on 3-pointers

Since starting the seeding games the Toronto Raptors have been on an absolute rampage, while the Boston Celtics have seemingly struggled to find their rhythm. There are many reasons one can point to as to why this has been the case, but perhaps the main contributing factor for the Raps has been their impeccable 3-point shooting.

While many other teams returning from hiatus have had a hard time getting their fluidity and shooting efficiency back, the defending champions have been lights out in their scoring efficiency, especially from deep.

Thus far in the bubble, Toronto has converted on 42 percent of their 3-point attempts, even seeing themselves shooting at a 50 percent clip during their victory over the sixth-best team at defending the triple, the Miami Heat.

The Boston Celtics could very easily find themselves struggling to defend the paint, as the Raptors roster quite a number of players who find themselves longing to bang down low and convert at the rim. If the Cs allow them to also find continued success from long range tonight, things could turn ugly real fast.

Luckily Boston ranks fourth in defending the 3-point line, so they should be able to make it a challenge to convert from long range.
