The Boston Celtics possess one of the best game-changing wings in the NBA. Where does Jayson Tatum rank at his position?

Bleacher Report has been ranking each position this season, and while it is fascinating to see how guys like Kemba Walker, Marcus Smart and Jaylen Brown are viewed, the Boston Celtics are in the process of christening the next superstar with the arrival of Jayson Tatum in 2019-20.

In his first All-Star season, Tatum has become the team’s leading scorer and has had several signature moments–his step-back 3-pointer that dropped Paul Goerge and tied the game when the C’s visited the Clippers at the Staples Center–that have lent credence to the idea that he has become a legitimate leader for Boston.

How does he stack up amongst his peers though? We recently took a look at where he fairs among his generation’s group of future stars. But what about how he favors overall at his position?

While Tatum is a tweener forward, he has logged most of his minutes at the small forward spot. He often starts games at the four, but in execution and play-style, Tatum is a classic wing who has plenty of scoring options in his repertoire.

B/R saw Tatum as the fifth-best small forward in the game, just ahead of New Orleans Pelicans forward Brandon Ingram. The Houdini feels his ranking is a little too low though, and has decided to rerank the position. Here is our own version of the top 5 power forwards in the association:
