In regard to the potential 2020 draft targets for the Boston Celtics, two of them are very reminiscent of a couple of current NBA players.

Typically speaking, when a team finds success in a season, they tend to hold little value in terms of their draft position. However, despite this, over the past several seasons the Boston Celtics have managed to defy this trend and, instead, find massive worth in their draft stock.

Despite holding a record of 205-123 (60 percent winning percentage) from over the past four seasons, the shamrocks have gone into each draft night as one of the most talked-about teams during the festivity, holding the rights to 17 different draft selections, eight of which were found to be in the first round.

This upcoming draft, similar to 2016’s and last year’s draft (though, they traded one on draft night), Boston will come into the illustrious night holding the rights to three first-round picks (MEM, BOS, MIL), one of which that could wind up being in the lottery should the Memphis Grizzlies miss out on the postseason.

While some — including ourselves — have advocated that the C’s front office should ponder on the idea of trading away their picks, it cannot be argued that, should they wind up simply keeping them, it would be a cheap and easy way to add on some young and promising talents to their roster and, in turn, potentially make their future prospects even brighter than they currently are.

Recently, we did a piece covering two incoming prospects the Boston Celtics could consider targeting and compared them to two specific NBA players. Frankly, we thoroughly enjoyed the assignment and, subsequently, decided to give it another crack with two new potential targets.

Read on to see two players Boston could have on their radar heading into the draft, and who they most resemble in regard to current NBA players:
