The Houdini continues to find trade target fits for every team in the NBA for the Boston Celtics. Today, we take a look at the southwest division.

The number of days until the Boston Celtics return is now under 40. With the defending champion Toronto Raptors heading down to Florida for training camp yesterday, the ball is officially rolling for the resumption of the 2019-20 season.

Granted, the spread of COVID-19 in the sunshine state is alarmingly high right now. That said, Adam Silver has repeatedly expressed confidence in the bubble concept. This return may just be too big to fail even if some NBA-ers choose to sit out the final eight games of the regular season and the postseason.

Assuming everything goes without a hitch–and by that, we mean more than just a few positive tests among team players, coaches and support staff–the C’s will have a legitimate chance to bring home banner #18.

If they are unable to achieve such a feat in these unusual circumstances, they will have their work cut out for them this offseason. Either way, Danny Ainge has three upcoming first-round draft picks and plenty of roster decisions to make regarding their free agents and youth.

Those are the decisions we have focused on in our series of trade targets from each of the NBA’s six divisions. With the C’s owning top-line talent, youth, and plenty of draft capital, there are few targets in the league that the team can’t attain.
