The Boston Celtics are one of the most talented teams in the NBA, but they have three specific secret weapons that will dictate a long postseason run.

As we continually mark the days off our calendars, the effervescent feeling that is abundant when Boston Celtics basketball is being played gets closer and closer to colliding once again with our hearts.

Going on three months and counting since we last saw the shamrocks take to the hardwood, fans of the organization have been champing at the bit just waiting to receive news on when they may be able to see their favorite NBA team play once again.

Now, with a set date of July 30th confirmed, we can now stop fearing for the fate of the season and, instead, gear up for what should be an entertaining ride toward a 2020 championship.

Prior to the COVID-19 induced hiatus on March 11th, the Celtics had managed to position themselves within the upper echelon of the league’s teams. Through 64 games, Boston boasted an impressive record of 43-21, placing them in the third seed within the Eastern Conference, the fifth seed in the NBA’s standings and, with their victory over the Indiana Pacers on March 10th, were officially headed to their sixth straight postseason.

Despite the gap in between play, fans and experts alike still consider the Boston Celtics to be top-tier contenders heading into the Disney World bubble, as made evident by NBA.com’s most recent power rankings.

Though many may point to the obvious weapons in regard to why the Celtics may be in the running for a potential championship bid, there are a few secret weapons that are not necessarily viewed as vital as, say, the team’s two All-Stars in Jayson Tatum or a Kemba Walker.

Read on to see who we have deemed to be the C’s top-three secret weapons to a tittle run in 2020:
