The NBA season is nearing its return, and there will be plenty to prove for all of the 22 teams invited to the Orlando bubble. Which Boston Celtics players have something extra to prove in Walt Disney World?

The new normal in 2020 is eagerly anticipating the return of the Boston Celtics and the NBA playing in an empty arena with no fans on the campus of Walt Disney World’s “Wide World of Sports” facilities.

With a pandemic, protests, murder hornets and UFO’s dominating the wackiest cycle of news in any time continuum, anything basketball-related at this point is a treat. While baseball is fumbling on how to return, the NBA has come up with a brilliant plan that could result in more entertaining games than any other sport trying to figure out a way to play in front of no audience.

For fans of eight NBA franchises, the news of the league’s return is a depressing one. Fans of teams like the New York Knicks, Golden State Warriors, and Chicago Bulls will have to wait what will end up being nine months or more to see any meaningful regular-season action.

Luckily Boston Celtics fans will get to see their 43-21 third-place team in the east battle for supremacy for eight regular-season games and the postseason gauntlet.

While we will obviously see how the playoff tournament plays out, we will also be able to see the game within the game. Which stars will have something extra to play for when the season resumes?
