Karl-Anthony Towns

Karl-Anthony Towns has been a stud since he first stepped foot in the league. As the #1 pick in the 2015 Draft, Towns was always pegged for big things in his professional career coming out of the University of Kentucky.

That said, he has elevated his game to heights this season that the center position has truly never seen. While his field goal percentage is down from last season, he has elevated his scoring because of an eye-popping performance from the 3-point line: 41 percent shooting on eight attempts per game.

Towns is truly a generational talent. He is a shade under seven-feet, but is able to put you on a poster, or stretch the floor out from the center position. While his draft-class mate Kristaps Porzingis is known as the unicorn, it is actually Towns who has done things that have never been seen before.

Minnesota acquired his friend and the player selected directly after him in the 2015 NBA Draft in D’Angelo Russell at the trade deadline, but it is yet to be seen whether or not that will make the team a playoff contender. If the team continues to falter and Towns remains unhappy in a small market, giving up Brown as part of a larger package is somewhat of a no-brainer.
