In lieu of on-court basketball news, the Houdini is providing you all of the from-home updates from the Boston Celtics and its stars.

While it is okay to dream about the what-ifs regarding where the Boston Celtics would be right now if the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals were happening as planned, you might as well turn your attention to what is going on in reality.

Nothing could replace the sights and sounds of a packed house at the TD Garden, but in this post-NBA season suspension world, our attention must be turned elsewhere for the foreseeable future.

Until Adam Silver makes a decision on when–or even whether or not–this season will resume, the league is still very much in the public eye. Why? Because the NBA is the greatest league in the world and it features some of the most fan-friendly players of any league.

Even if the season never returns, there will be plenty to discuss from the fallout of the cancelled 2019-20 campaign, the NBA Draft, free agency…you know the usual 24/7, 365 NBA news cycle. Was Giannis Antetokounmpo or LeBron James the MVP? Or more relevantly: does Jayson Tatum have a chance at being named the Most Improved Player?

That aside, there have been distractions in the form of ESPN-hosted NBA 2K and H.O.R.S.E. events to keep fans of the association occupied during this extended pause on normalcy. There have been constant reminders from the league that it is still there even if games aren’t being played.
