Jaylen Brown stuffs the stat-sheet on Christmas Day: December 25th

Heading into this matchup, the Boston Celtics held a record of 20-7 and were in the midst of a three game winning streak.

A hot team going up against the defending world champion Toronto Raptors is always bound to draw attention. Add in the fact that this matchup was played in the Great White North and fell on Christmas Day and you have the makings of a prime-time classic.

For some players, the bright lights of such an attention-grabbing matchup may prove to be too overwhelming to handle. For fourth year wing Jaylen Brown, however, it was a coming out party on the 2019-20 season.

On the night, the 23 year old led all scorers with 30 points to go along with six rebounds and four assists. He shot an impressive 77 percent from the field, 71 percent from the field and, behind his excellence — specifically in the second half, scoring 19 points at a clip of 75 percent from the field and 67 percent from three.

Behind his brilliance the Boston Celtics managed to easily slide to a victory over the Raptors by a score of 118-102.

Prior to this game, Brown had scored 30 or more points twice. However, none saw as many rebounds grabbed, dimes dropped and as consistent of a shot as he did on this night.

Because of this, combined with the fact that it fell on such an attention grabbing day as Christmas and it ended with such a convincing victory for the shamrocks, his performance certainly warrants a spot on this list.
