3. Brooklyn Nets

The Brooklyn Nets were a sneaky fun team to play with last season being led by D’Angelo Russell. Now, they are very obviously a deadly squad being led by their two superstars in Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving.

While the real-life pair aren’t likely to play again until the 2020-21 season tips off, they are currently available to play as in the game alongside Spencer Dinwiddie, Caris LeVert and Jarrett Allen.

That trio could be traded by the time Durant makes his Nets debut, but for now, the team has two superstars and several capable ball-handlers gamers could initiate the offense with. Given how smooth KD’s and Irving’s shots feel in the game, Brooklyn ranks as a top 2K squad.

2. Boston Celtics

Our beloved Boston Celtics come up as the second most fun team to play as in NBA 2K, but are this high for legitimate reasons. Firstly, they have four players that could create their own shots in Kemba Walker, Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum and Gordon Hayward.

The foursome, along with Marcus Smart, are good with both the half-court game as well as the transition game. All four are capable of getting to the rim and either finishing the fast-break or getting to the free-throw line.

Daniel Theis is respected by the creators of 2K with lock-down defense at the rim, and Enes Kanter is a rebounding machine in the game just as he is in real life.

Perhaps the best part about using the C’s is being able to always have a star on the floor at all times. There’s nothing better than playing with someone who can win you a game during any hot stretch. All of that said, there is one more team that is more fun to play with in NBA 2K:
