Jayson Tatum

First up on our list, we have the team’s best player from the 2019-20 campaign, Jayson Tatum. The C’s have relied time and time again on the young wing to take command of the team both offensively as well as on D to guide them to hard fought victories this season.

Once they return to action, things should prove to be no different.

Through 59 games, the 22 year old has put up career highs seemingly all across the board, averaging 23.6 points, 7.1 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.4 steals and just shy of a block per game on 45 percent shooting from the field and 40 percent shooting from deep.

Behind his excellence the third year wing has managed to guide the Boston Celtics to a 43-21 record, giving them the third seed in the Eastern Conference, the fifth best record in the entire association and the team’s sixth straight playoff berth — giving them hold of the second most postseason appearances in the NBA over the past two decades.

Tatum was bestowed All-Star honors for the first time in his career, thus having the Boston Celtics be represented by multiple players — Kemba Walker also named an All-Star — for the ninth time over the past 20 years.

Though he may be one of the youngest players on this shamrocks squad he is the most important to their success moving forward and, thus, will prove to be a major key for the team if the season winds up coming back to action this year.
