The Boston Celtics will be squaring off tonight against Donovan Mitchell and the Utah Jazz. What are some keys to victory for the shamrocks?

It seems like only last week the Boston Celtics and the Utah Jazz were engaged in combat, trading blows and swapping leads throughout all 48 minutes. Hmm… come to think of it, it was last week.

On February 26th, Beantown squared off against the Jazz in a road tilt in Sal Lake City that saw the C’s come away victorious to the tune of 114-103. Five players for Boston wound up scoring in double-digits while Jayson Tatum ended the night with 33 points and 11 rebounds on 65 percent shooting from the field and 60 percent shooting from deep.

However, these impressive stats and 11 point margin of victory doesn’t tell the full story of the contest, as Utah fought till the very end. Led by their young face of the franchise Donovan Mitchell — who recorded 37 points, five rebounds and five assists — the Jazz ended the night with three players in double figures, and Mitchell seemingly matching Tatum’s game shot for shot.

Ultimately, however, the Celtics came away victorious and improved their (then) record to 41-17.

Now, three games since their encounter for both parties, the franchises have seemed to branch off in two different directions, with Utah winning all three matchups that followed while Boston has registered a record of 1-2.

With a win tonight, the Celtics could stretch their winning streak to two in a row while ending Utah’s streak at three. However, in order to accomplish this, they should adhere to these three keys to victory.
